See Home Soccer Opener 1999! And photos from the second home game, against North Park! I picked up the 24 photos yesterday that I took at this past Tuesday's U of C women's soccer season opener at home against Lawrence. I'm putting them onto my page right now! We won 4-0!

See Beach Blast '99! I finally recovered enough from my illness to make it up to North Avenue Beach with my 300mm lens Pentax camera on the final summer beach weekend of the year, Sunday Sept 5 and Monday Sept 6 1999. Sunday featured a huge Budweiser amateur beach volleyball tournament at North Avenue on a very warm and sunny day. Monday it was quite cool, so the joggers dominate my two rolls of film on that day. I'm scanning the photos now, but some are there already! Warning: Rated PG-13!!!

Today on channel 7 I'll be excited, along with much of America, to watch the US women's soccer team in the World Cup final at the Rose Bowl versus China! In honor of the event I'll take my intro photo from the wireservice soccer photos today. New today: A second unscientific poll question: How well did the U of C computer administrators do on the harper upgrade of 7/7/99? I seem to have beat the same computer administrators to the punch by just one work day. They were planning a similar page for this upcoming Monday. I offered to remove or alter mine, but they said I should keep the page as it is. However I expect I will have a link to their page if they should make one.
