Here's some general info:
"For a clear soup, skim as soon as
it boils. Otherwise, do not skim,
as the scum that rises contains
some nourishment."

Cook Book," New York: Bloch Publishing Company,
1947, p.12.

Always keep Hershey's chocolate syrup in
your refrigerator.

Sid's Osco Osterizer Orange Dream Soda-Shake
1) Obtain an Osterizer blender. I just got
mine at the Great Ace at Clybourn & Webster.
2) Fill one blender with the following. Most
ingrediants are available at 53rd Street Osco.
-Vanilla Ice Cream
-Jewel Orange Juice (now on sale for $.99/half-gallon at Osco
if you sign up for their free Preferred Card)
-Orange soda. I used Nehi.
-Half and Half
-ice cubes
-Smirnoff Vodka (Osco sells a small 1/5 liter size
for $3.39)
Use whatever proportions feel in synchrony with
your zeitgeist.
Zap thoroughly with the blender, and drink up!
Hmm! Mine is delicious!

Sid's Home Economics Tip #9
Take one of those small black binder clips
home from work. If you don't want to eat
the whole bag of your m&m's, use the binder
clip to seal up the bag. Your m&m's will
remain securely in the bag, and won't fall
out into your pocket or other clothing
orifices!!!
